The Malankara Orthodox Diocese of South-West America (DS-WA) is a diocese of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, established on April 1, 2009. The diocesan headquarters is located at 3101 Hopkins Rd, Beasley, TX 77417, approximately 40 miles southwest of downtown Houston.

The current Diocesan Metropolitan of the Diocese of South-West America is His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Ivanios. Born on December 13, 1969, he was elected as the Metropolitan candidate on February 25, 2022, at the Malankara Association held at Kolenchery. He was consecrated as Metropolitan on July 28, 2022, at St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral, Pazhanji.

Overview of the Diocese

The Diocese of South-West America encompasses parishes located in the southern and western states of the United States and the western provinces of Canada. As of April 2020, there are 63 churches in the southwest diocese. The diocese serves a diverse and growing Orthodox Christian community, providing spiritual guidance, liturgical services, and community programs under the leadership of His Grace Dr. Thomas Mar Ivanios.
